They did the live version of their soundtrack to the 1929 film "Man with a Movie Camera" by Dziga Vertov. This silent movie shows a day in the life of a city and its inhabitants. It really is a masterpiece, amazing camera angles and composition. Very interesting too, as it gives a pretty good view into what the 1920's soviet union was like.
Cinematic's contribution to Vertov's piece consists mainly of remixed versions of tracks from their "Every Day" album (a must have for modern Jazz/dance lovers in my opinion). With classics such as "All That You Give", "Burnout", "Evolution", "All Things To All Men", and of course "Man with a move camera", providing the soundtrack. My only gripe is that they didn't play "Flite"!
As a live band, I'd have to say they sound fantastic. Their drummer Luke Flowers is simply amazing. He gave an excellent performance, with marathon solo's. The rest of the band were very good, but were somewhat overshadowed by Flowers in my opinion. Thats no discredit to the others at, he's just a great drummer.
All in all, great experience. There's little I can do but gush about how fantastic it was really.
I'd recommend seeing them, and listening to "Every Day". Great stuff.

New account to anyone.
Why don't they order the Nearby Deviants list by how close they are?
Lazarus, you might be near me, but I don't know, because I'm too lazy to scroll through pages upon pages to find you name in the list.
Silly dA.

I disagree with you so much! From what I think of the US, to my thoughts on the origin of life. You appear so ignorant and blind. I really don't understand why you don't see. But am too tired to send you a proper note.
Cheers,
